Why We Started This

Most Dutch language programs feel disconnected from real life. We changed that.

Back in 2019, we noticed something frustrating. People were completing traditional language courses but still couldn’t hold a conversation with Dutch colleagues. They’d memorized grammar rules but froze when someone asked them a simple question in Dutch.

That’s when SpreekNederlands B.V. was born. We decided to build something different — lessons focused entirely on what actually matters. How you’ll really communicate. What people really say. The expressions that’ll help you fit in.

We’ve worked with expats, professionals relocating to Amsterdam, and language learners of all backgrounds. Every lesson we create comes from real feedback and real situations our students face every single day.
